Summit Residence | Las Vegas, NV

Perched above the desert valley, these northern US residents spend their winters warming up in Las Vegas, Nevada. The restrained material palette, both exterior and interior, allows the surrounding landscape, reflection pool and night sky take center stage. MMX STUDIO’s founder had the opportunity to not only work on the interior layout, finishes and details, she also researched and assisted on structural, mechanical, plumbing and equipment specs. Michelle’s biggest feat was collaborating with structural engineers and stair contractors to create a mono stringer, floating stair suspended off of a cantilevered bridge.
